Elder in Residence Public Talk : Minnesota Native American Essential Understandings for Educators

Mon, April 22, 2024 • 12:00pm - 1:30pm (1h 30m) • Sayles-Hill 251
Ramona Kitto Stately

Ramona has reached out to let us know that she is very ill and unable to visit campus today.  Fortunately, Ida Downwind is still nearby following the Minnesota Indian Education Association conference and narrating the Ojibwe Creation Story featured in Rochester Dance Company performances through the weekend.  With Ramona's support, Ida graciously accepted our invitation to step in and keep the Elder in Residence appointments for today.  Ida's work prior to her retirement underpins the Essential Understandings publication.
